New LDF Country Market Retail Center Opens June 3rd

The time has finally come. The new retail center is open at the LDF Country Market. We’ve given some updates throughout the process here, here and here. We had a soft opening ceremony and  got some great press coverage we wanted to share. Here is a great spot on WRJO and the Lakeland Times.

“The official ribbon-cutting Wednesday means an upgraded grocery and retail development in downtown Lac du Flambeau.

LDF Business Development Corporate Retail Director, Dan Bonavia,  says the new retail center will offer residents more choices at the Country Market, which is located near the current store..

“This has been years and years in the making I think is a fair way to say it. We’re still in awe that it is actually happening. It’s all levels of our organization and several others making sure this came to fruition and is as beautiful as it is…”

Bonavia says the new retail structure houses : grocery, gas, the smoke shop, deli, and convenience. It will provide enhanced bakery with larger meat and produce selections and more. Bonavia says he’s excited for the greater selection for the community…”
