Update on New LDF Country Market Retail Center Development

If you’ve driven through Lac du Flambeau lately, you likely noticed a new retail center rising from the Earth to replace the current home of the LDF Country Market.

The new all-in-one facility will provide enhanced bakery with larger meat and produce selections. The deli presentation will provide larger selections of healthy snacks, homemade and healthy meal options, and room for customers to enjoy a quick lunch by having access to seating. In addition to an improved shopping experience, shoppers should also enjoy expanded hours. Expanded parking and new gas station fueling lanes will accommodate the high demand often experienced as well.

The new retail center is scheduled to open mid-Summer 2020. It is part of a master plan that calls for more retail space development in the future. Once complete the old store will be torn down after 20-plus years of service in Lac du Flambeau to make room for the new facility.
