Farmer's Market

The LDF Country Market invites vendors to showcase their homegrown and homemade products in our parking lot this year each Saturday beginning Memorial Day weekend, and ending Labor Day weekend.  We welcome vendors to sell to our community members and tourists in our area.

This is not a flea market.  The re-sale of products is not welcome.

Operations

The LDF Country Market Farmers Market will be held on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm beginning Saturday, May 27, 2017 (Memorial Day weekend), and continuing through Saturday, September 2, 2017 (Labor Day weekend).

We are unable to provide electric.  Vendors are required to tear-down each Saturday.  No items may be left or stored after 6:00 pm.

Cost

There is no cost to vend.  Advanced approval is required.  Vendors may not setup without prior approval.  See below for reserving your space.

Insurance

Sellers are responsible for their own personal liability and product liability insurance, and are required to have vehicle/liability insurance.

Rules Applicable to All Vendors and Products

All sellers must abide by, and all products must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing health, packaging, labeling, taxes, scales, weights and measures, etc.  For more information, contact Wisconsin Sellers Permit information at (608) 266-2776.

All items must be grown, gathered, produced, and/or processed by the vendor. Ingredients of artisan products should be sourced locally if possible. All processed products must be properly labeled in accordance with the State and Federal labeling laws. Vendors may display, sell, deliver, and take orders for only those LDF Country Market approved products.

It is the expectation of the LDF Country Market that the vendor be available to manage your stand. The intent is to have one person available who is involved in production to answer customer questions.

Permits and Licensing

It is the responsibility of the vendor to obtain and provide to the LDF Country Market copies of all licenses and permits required for the sale of your products.

Covenant to Hold Harmless

The vendor, in consideration of participation at the Farmers Market at LDF Country Market, agrees to hold the LDF Country Market and their agents, officers, directors, and employees harmless from and against any and all claims, causes of action, demands, debts, damages, judgments, cost or expenses (including attorney fees), or other losses of any nature or kind arising from, relating to, or in any manner connected with the 2017 Farmers Market at LDF Country Market.

Right to Terminate Vendor

If a vendor is found to be in violation of any of the above rules, vending privileges will be immediately terminated.
